another seed

I think that hyperfocus and 'flow' are when your ram is full from back to front with something where you understand the rules well; there is no wool in a tangle.

So I think I can get myself into a flow state more easily because I have a short memory. I am building the rails as I go. So I forget where I've been and where I'm going and just see the one step in front and go. And go and go and go for 4 to 6 hours because I have to finish it in one sitting or the rails are gone forever. That was J1.

Now I can switch off thanks to meds. I can handle projects which take months rather than having to make all large projects into sprint after sprint after sprint. I still work that way but it's a choice. I'm not sure that working sequentially instead of temporally is a choice but that's for another post.

The flip side of having shorter tracks to build is that they're easier to destroy. So while I can probably get into flow easier, and stay there if undistracted, I can have them smashed beyond all recognition pretty easily. I guess other people might be able to hold it a little better if disturbed.

Anyway. Seed planted.
