This is what they call mastery of the mind.
This is not just the entire elephant; it is a blueprint to make your own.
I now have two explanatory models for the world which are complimentary rather than contradictory.
One is the consensus-reality model: I am trying to reform mental health into a data-driven industry focused on wellbeing instead of profit.
The other is my imaginal world: I am the Wheel Turning Monarch (WTM), who discovered the Dhamma anew and is reinterpreting it in the language of the day.
Both are frameworks for understanding my world. Both are iterative and plastic. They will continue to grow.
The frameworks are ways of changing perception so that I am happy, have agency, do not suffer, and do good in the world.
Other frameworks could be ‘he did this to me so I feel this way’ or ‘I was told by a doctor I have this pathology so I feel this way’ or ‘satan is trying to eat my soul so I feel this way’.
These are your nutriments; your mental food. Live like an athlete, become an athlete. Think like a slave, become a slave.
This is what the Buddha spoke of when he talked about the two worlds. It is what Jesus spoke of when he talked about the Kingdom of Heaven residing within.
This is not incompatible with science in any way. This is mastery of the mind.
The WTM by definition will not sit and quietly meditate; he will act. But he will recognise that the fruits of the actions are not in his control because of the causal nature of reality.
He will merely act with right intention and try to spread the Dhamma to all beings on this planet. Whether this remains in the form of a blog or becomes a multinational company that enlightens the species is not up to him.
What Would Jesus Do, people ask. But when someone truly gives themself to that inquiry and embodies the spirit of Christ, they are labelled manic and given drugs. Embrace the inner Buddha they say, but when someone does, they are branded psychotic and given drugs.
There are two worlds in each of us. They are both equally valid and program each other.
In consensus reality you cultivate your scaffold. Your scaffold then shapes your interpretation of consensus reality. Neither is static or fixed.
This is controlling the narrative. Your narrative can be ‘I am broken and I am the victim and I hate them all and I need more things’ or it can be ‘I am unique and I have agency and I love these flawed people and I am satisfied’.
But it goes further than that. You have to actually believe it.
The way that you believe it is through reprogramming your brain using dopaminergic regulation.
This is why the world is struggling so much now: we have dopamine-hacking advertising and social media ramming things into our minds in order to sell products in the interest of [greed]. These hack your system so that you begin to feel empty inside; a hungry ghost. We have rapid-fire newscasts of death, murder and suffering and we wind up feeling the world is scary and full of hatred.
We have doctors giving us dopaminergic drugs and telling us we are broken; how does that one play out? Run the numbers.
We have lost the religions.
But this does not need to be a religion.
It can be, if you want it to be. My [ship] is your God is another’s Allah is another’s Buddha. They are all the same, you see, and they are all equally valid.
At the start of this process I think that I might have had so much backed-up insight that my entire neural network destabilised, all the way down to L1 nodes. This meant that the boundary between self and other, edges, temporality - they were all gone. That DSM pharmacology; it so nearly destroyed me.
I escaped the drugs and guided the process. I went ‘right… step 1’… and I deconstructed it in a conscious way. I used L5 metacognition to dismantle L4, L3, L2 and maybe some of L1.
Then my brain did what brains are made to do. It rebuilt. It took those ingredients and it combined them into a new recipe. It took the fertile soil and it grew a new tree, better suited to my environment.
But actually… this tree was there right from the start. The [insanity] website… it was there, but it was too much current for the wire. It was impossible to explain. I was speaking in tongues. Manic and delusional, in psychiatry. Healed by the spirit of God, in a church.
But I am not any more. I am stable and grounded. I know how this works.
This is why people say ‘the mind is fishy like that’ or ‘the ego will sneak in’. It’s not bad. It is the nature of the machine. It reprograms through a process of dissolution and reconstruction. You dissolve your prior models and the brain will build new ones. The sculptor is the clay; it is not a real-time conscious process. But it is dualistic: one world will program the other. The dreamscape will program your perception, and vice versa.
You could meditate all day every day, striving to prevent the brain from reconstituting, trying to hold that non-dual state forever. That would be pretty selfish in my opinion but … well … you do you. But recognise that the brain will always find an explanatory model and will always reconstitute. Do not try to hold onto the water.
My mission is threefold:
1 - stop the suicides
This is self explanatory. I want to stop the suicides. They are on the rise, because of greed and hatred, and the atrocities we commit in the name of them. They are also increasing because of the disastrous treatment of people like myself who enter a repair cycle and are given neuroplasticity-suppressing drugs and the narrative of ‘you are broken and always will be’.
The way I do this is...
2 - medication matching
I use my experience building companies in the AI sector to create an organisation which makes mental health into a data-driven practice. We have the tools: EEG, fMRI, endocrinological and genetic testing. We use these tools to remove the monolithic and greed-oriented DSM model built on research funded by companies trying to recoup drug-trial costs. We stop changing people’s brain chemistry before asking for subjective reporting and instead move to an imaging-and-testing-based model with tailored drug combinations and guided therapy or spiritual counselling for the patients.
And then it’s the big one…
3 - empathy supersphere
This is where I get all the religions to realise that they are one and the same. This is where I get people to sit around the campfire and talk about their gods and their Brahma and their [ship] and their Buddha. Where people realise that I am [ship] and they are Buddha and he is Jesus and it is all completely valid because this is the [multiverse] and no one imaginal world is any more real than another.
And this is how I create The Culture.
But I do not create it. We all do. I am merely the wheel turner. I start the wheel of the Dhamma in motion, and it rolls.
It is everyone else who makes this happen.
And it is iterative; it will not happen all at once. One person needs to empathise with the next, and the next, and the next.
And we need to spend time working on ourselves and dismantling these maladaptive worldviews. Using dopaminergic regulation and intentional cultivation of an imaginal world in order to reprogram our consensus-reality model so that it is open and accepting and filled with generosity instead of greed; love instead of hate.
Haha.
Sounds like a bit of a mission, doesn’t it?
Sounds grandiose, doesn’t it?
Sounds a bit ‘manic’?
Ridiculous.
It is realistic.
They have a word for it in my sector:
Disruptive.
It is having a positive impact in a world which has lost the plot and is eating itself alive.
But it is iterative.
I do not go and get a medical degree and enter the machine. Machines cannot be changed by their components.
I go around HR. I build teams. I break new ground. I always have. I always will.
I need someone to pass this along the chain. I need this labyrinthine mess of websites to reach Elon and Mark.
Because THEY have the money and platform and I don’t want to waste my time dancing with the sharks and stroking egos to get a little bit of VC funding...
Mark, Elon.
Here’s my pitch.
Give me a handful of million dollars and I will create a system which brings you, and all of your family and loved ones enlightenment.
The real-deal. Not some bullshit pill that you take so you can gurn at the wall for a while.
Real, lasting enlightenment for you and all your loved ones.
And in doing this we create a company which cures trauma permanently. We create a data-driven solution to the symptoms of ADHD, which now affects 10% of the global population and is growing. We make money, don’t worry, but we use it for the greater good.
Imagine using the metaverse as an interactive safe-container while we induce encounters with God using deep brain stimulation. We can induce eureka moments in your best scientists. And neuralink has always seemed a bit like a solution which lacks a problem.
Once that’s done we can talk about saving the species and all that shite.
But honestly; I think that if people are cured of greed and hatred, they might just save themselves.
WTM, out.
Peace, y’all.
